Services

Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Geriatric patients and those with underlying medical conditions should receive an examination by the doctor every six months. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

 Preventive Care and Wellness

Vaccines-We follow core and non-core vaccination protocols, which help to ensure that your pet is vaccinated appropriately for his or her lifestyle. This eliminates the need for excessive and unnecessary vaccines.

Permanent Identification (Microchipping)-We use the ResQ microchip in connection with www.petlink.net. This is a no-annual fee 24/7 pet registry and recovery service.

Bathing-We offer routine and therapeutic bathing for all animals.

Internal Medicine and Surgery

Surgical Services and Anesthesia-We have a state-of-the-art surgical suite that allows us to perform a wide variety of surgical procedures. We also utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. In many cases your pet receives the same anesthetic medications you would receive at a human hospital. We have some of the most advanced technology to monitor your pet under anesthesia. Your pet's heart rate and rhythm, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration will be closely monitored the entire time from induction to recovery. We also provide an external warming apparatus that keeps your pet warm during procedures and helps prevent life-threatening hypothermia.

Dental Care

Cleanings, Extractions, and Oral Surgery-Using the latest technology in Veterinary Dentistry; a Piezo Scaler, we can perform dental procedures more effectively and efficiently causing less damage to the enamel and with less time under anesthesia.

Home Dental Care-We have many options available to keep your pets' mouth clean and healthy between dental visits. We have toothpaste and brushes, water additives, and cleaning chew treats available to fit your lifestyle.

Prescriptions-Our extensive pharmacy inventory assures we will have what your pet needs when they go home. We try to avoid the hassle of having to make a stop on the way home to pick up something we have prescribed. If we don't have it today, we can usually have it by tomorrow.

Nutraceuticals-We have a selection of nutritional supplements available over the counter that can compliment any diet. We can make suggestions based on the needs of your pet.

Shampoos-Skin health is just as important, so we carry shampoos, conditioners, and lotions to help you ensure the outside of your pet is just as healthy as the inside.
